The Tack Room

Above the restaurant’s main dining room is Circa 1886’s most popular private event venue, the Tack Room. This bright, beautiful space boasts two original fireplaces and special decorative touches that are uniquely Charleston. The Tack Room can accommodate parties of 40 or fewer guests.  The versatile event space can serve as a private dining room or even a small wedding reception venue. The Tack Room is often utilized for business luncheons, meetings and private daytime dining.

The Garden Room

Our Garden Room is tucked away from the bustle of the restaurant’s main dining room. Up to 12 people will enjoy an intimate private dining experience in this welcoming, cozy space.

Lawn and Patio

Circa 1886′s tree-lined courtyard and patio set a beautiful event backdrop. This outdoor event space is ideal for cocktails or a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception. Up to 30 people may gather here comfortably. The setting, on the lawn of the majestic Wentworth Mansion, is truly stunning.

Restaurant Buyout

Large parties may enjoy the flexibility and exclusivity of a restaurant buyout. Up to 120 guests may enjoy full access to each of the restaurant’s unique seating areas, including the two main dining rooms, Tack Room, and Garden Room. A personal bartender will create specialty cocktails and set the tone for an exciting evening.

A buyout is a great option for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and anniversary celebrations. Availability and prices are subject to the restaurant’s event calendar.
